Hosted a Party in Pink™ Zumbathon®, October 15th, 2011

Okay, I thought my second Zumbathon® would be easier than my first, but it turns out it was harder!
First off, trying to get sponsors, second working a full time job (Computer Tech), teaching Zumbatomics part time, and organizing a Zumbathon. Not easy.

But the Zumbathon® was a success! We had 87 attendees, and if you include the guest instructors, the total was 104, which beat my April Party Hearty Zumbathon® (68)!
But, even though it was a great success and I did my good deed, I felt like a failure. The DJ was a mess, the playlist was too long, which caused a problem with the Community Center staff and I got chewed out by the manager at the end, who had left the Beaver game and driven back to McMinnville just to chew me out! Plus, it turns out the front desk didn't go well and my participant sign in sheets were not filled out - I have to send them into Zumba, it took me an entire day to figure out how many people came, what money went where, etc. Leaving me to getting the shopping done on Monday.

Anyway, I'm glad that's over and I can start focusing on teaching my Zumbatomics classes! Big Starz classes start again this week, and I hope I'll be able to teach this time. No one signed up for the last round. I put together post cards, though, and I'll start passing them out wherever I can to round up some business!

Plus, I need to start teaching Gold classes and Toning classes somewhere. Plus get this house clean.

I don't know, maybe I'm just trying to do too much!

This Saturday, October 22, is ZIN Jammer training with a local ZIN Jammer. I'm told she's great and I can't wait.

Oh, and my weight is finally heading back down. My starting weight on 11/6/10 on Weight Watchers was 186.2 I've been holding in the 176 - 178 range, but I've dropped some weight this last week, so I'd really like to reach my 10% goal (18 pounds) - I have about 8 pounds to go to reach it! That should be my goal! Let's do this!
